  7. Parallelogram: A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with at least one pair of parallel side.

  8. In a right triangle the sides opposite to the acute angle are the legs of the triangle while the side opposite the right angle is called the hypotenuse.

  9. legs (of a right triangle) are the two shorter sides of a triangle

  10. -Area of a rectangle: A=wl
    -Area of parallelogram:A=bh
    -Area of a trapezoid: A=a+b over 2 multiplied by h

  12. Hypotenuse is the long side of a right triangle

  13. Circumference and area of a circle- Area = π × r^2 Circumference = 2 × π × r

  14. The Pythagorean theorem:

    This theorem is applicable to RIGHT triangles only. In a right triangle, the hypotenuse (the longest side of the triangle) is related to the other two sides. Let the hypotenuse be a, and the two other sides be b and c.

    So, a^2 = b^2 + c^2

    You can use this formula to solve for an unknown side.

    A=12.(15in).(4in)
    A=1/2.(60in2)
    A=(30in2)
